5Fantastic results, 7-year-old headlights look brand new
By Aimzilla
For anyone wanting the short and sweet version, just check out my before and after photo above or at this link: [...] I think the results speak for themselves.

After driving home a few late nights from work, I noticed how dim my headlights were against the road and realized the cloudy plastic was to blame. I always did a diligent job washing my car but found out the only way to clear up the hazy film on the headlights was to give it a good polish and buff.

I picked up this kit and finished both headlights in a matter of 45 minutes or so and couldn't be happier with the results! Starting with the 1000 grit paper, I periodically dipped it in a bowl of water keeping it wet while I sanded it for a few minutes. After wiping it dry, I moved onto the 3000 grit paper and sanded it without the water. Be sure to sand it DRY with the 3000 grit sandpaper otherwise you won't be able to polish it. Next I used the buffer head on my drill gun and started polishing. My obsessive compulsive tendencies forced me to repeat the process a few times (3 or 4 each headlight) to get it as clean as I could. I wiped it down, rubbed on the finishing protectant and stood back to admire my work. Again - check out the photo I uploaded to the gallery above of the results - that pretty much sums the kit's work up.

5easy...even for a girl!
By kayhough
My headlights were so cloudy i even had strangers putting business cards on my car to offer their services for clearing them up. I had to fix a burned out headlight so at the Auto Parts store i picked up this product and figured I try to clear up the fog myself.

I did the sanding with the 1000 and the 3000 both wet and my boyfriend offered assistance with the buffing using the drill--i think he felt bad that I was doing all the work. after a quick buff and polish they look brand new. Even my boyfriend was amazed it worked so well!

This is an easy to use product and there's enough to do 2 or 3 times in the future.

Must buy!

5It's like I have brand new headlights!
By Phillip D. Schmitt
The only thing I did different from what the directions suggest was that I used some 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper for the first round a surface scuffing (just to speed up the process, my lights were VERY yellow and over-coated). From there I followed the directions to a T and my headlights look brand new:)
