Almost Perfect pad

This pad is agressive enought to remove moderate swirls but finish out like a finishing pad. Its agressiveness is between the Lake country ccs orange pad and the gray pad. Laminated backing pate is a huge plus and the pad is machine washable. I was washing my pad and was spinning it out to dry but the resiest backing foam started to seperate. It's kind of my fault I did spin them at 3000 rpm, but this is the only pad that I had problems with spinning them dry. Other than that its a great pad, but the best pad if paired with m205 ultra-finishing polish. If it could with stand the spin dry it could honestly say it the best pad ever made.

Still like this pad vs. others!

I'm a professional detailer. I own almost every pad brand, 3M Perfect-It, Lake Country, Meguiar's, Griots garage. I use these pads with the Meguiar's backing pad that comes with their DA polisher with no problems and great results. This pad is great for removing Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant 2.0 and for applying Meguiar's Ultra Finishing Polish. I wouldn't use these pads with other backing plates(Astro Pneumatic type which I own) because the back of the pad will cup over time, loosing grip. Even my Lake Country pads cupped after using my Astro Pneumatic backing pad. I've washed these pads by hand, in the wash and I've spun them on my Meguiar's polisher and never had a problem with the Velcro separating. Stick with the Meguiar's backing pad with any Soft Buff 2.0 pad and you'll be happy.

The velcro backing on the pad failed before I was half done with my minivan. I expected a better product from Meguiar.
