The RaggTopp Vinyl Convertible Top Care Kit contains: 16 oz. RaggTopp Vinyl/Fabric Cleaner pump spray. Use confidently to safely clean convertible tops, sport utility tops, simcon tops and tonneau covers. RaggTopp Cleaner removes the toughest roof soils and stains, retards the growth of mildew and will actually keep dirt and grease at bay. The anti-oxidant, low pH, no bleach formula leaves NO residue. The environmentally friendly & biodegradable formula will not harm automotive finishes, chrome, rubber, glass, or plastic windows. 16 oz. RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant pump spray. Use,RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant on vinyl convertible tops, sport utility tops, car bras, and truck tonneau covers, as well as the rear window on all convertibles. The rear plastic window on your convertible top is a specialized type of clear vinyl called "pressed poly." It contains two layers of non-colored vinyl laminated together under intense pressure and heat. This material is soft and easily scratches, absorbs a wide range of gasses, U.V. rays, liquids, acids and other environmental elements. It will yellow and become brittle in time if you do not maintain it properly. UV protection added in the manufacturing process become less effective each day. RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant will restore the UV protection to the original factory level in order to maintain the look and feel of the vinyl. To use: Rinse top thoroughly to remove loose contaminants. Spray RaggTopp Cleaner evenly over wet surface and scrub lightly with a soft brush or towel. Allow tough stains to soak for 10 to 20 minutes before scrubbing. Rinse top thoroughly and allow to dry completely before applying protectant. Spray RaggTopp Vinyl Protectant onto a dry vinyl top and wipe it dry. Reapply every 3-5 weeks to maintain optimum UV protection. Important Note: Raggtopp Vinyl Protectant is for use on vinyl convertible tops only. Do not use Raggtopp Vinyl Protectant on fabric convertible tops.

Pleasantly surprised.

I purchased this being a bit skeptical about how it would work. I bought it for the Vinyl top of a 2010 Mustang, more as a protective/preventive measure.

Started off with the cleaner, and was neither impressed nor disappointed. I think the top wasn't too dirty to start with though. So it was Ok.

Then I used the protectant once it was dry, not expecting anything drastic to happen, but it actually did appear better than before it was applied. It gave it a kind of "freshly detailed" look to the top. It had a sheen, but not really greasy looking.

I was surprised when I got it wet the next time to see that it was actually beading up and repelling the water. (It looked a little like the protected fabric convertible videos on youtube, where the water beads and runs off, not as drastically but it was impressive for a vinyl top I thought).

To me, it seems sort of like a very glorified armor all type product, but at least it seems to have the industry backing and is specially made for convertible tops.
I think that I was more impressed by the protectant than the cleaner, but like I said, my top wasn't too dirty to start with.
Overall, I think it helps the look of the top which makes the car look better as a whole.
This stuff seems a little pricy everywhere on the web, but I guess its worth it.

Raggtop-As Advestised

I ordered this product after watching an episode of Two Guys Garage on Cable. Not only did it clean the convertible top, but it also restored the condition as well as the color on my 05 Honda S2000. The days of driving around with a faded top are history. Made my car look new again. Did I mention that it was a breeze to apply. As a car enthusiast, I defenitely recommend this product. Just make sure you purchase the correct kit for the correct application on your convertible (ie. fabric or canvas).

My 2003 Mustang convertible top was fading and starting to look dingy. Used this product and the car looks so much better! It took two applications for it to really look back to the original, easy to do yourself and makes a world of difference.
